My gift to give

This is my gift to give. 

Deep inside each and every one of us, there exists a special gift. A gift through which we can benefit others and bring them happiness, and in doing so, increases our own happiness. It is like a diamond, when you nurture it, it becomes precious, and it will shine brightly. 

My gift is my written word. I write in hope of inspiring others. I write to turn frowns into smiles. I write to make people feel that there is hope even in the darkest situations. 

Writing is a skill, as with everything else that we do. I know that my writing is nowhere near perfect, but i strive to improve. It will be a life long experience. To learn to make others feel the emotions that you put into your work. 

I use words to express myself. I use words to cheer a friend up. I use words to empower myself and those that read my works. 

So this is my gift to give. What will yours be?
